The 4-day Inca Trail trek already includes entry and a guided tour of Machu Picchu with circuit 1B. For those who wish to additionally visit Machu Mountain or Wayna Picchu, please note that this visit is optional and the ticket must be purchased in advance, as spots are limited.
The 4 available tickets for Machu Mountain and Wayna Picchu are:
These tickets allow entry to Machu Picchu at 07:00 or 09:00 and the visit through circuit 1A or 3A.
The arrival time of the trek on the 4th day only allows the 09:00 entry. If you stay an additional day, any time slot is available for the 5th day.
You can purchase this entrance with our agency when booking. Or after booking until 10 days before the date of your trek and depending on available spaces, that you can check in our Availability Machu Picchu 09 + Wayna Picchu page.
The Inca Trail entrance sold by the Peruvian government includes automatically an entrance to Machu Picchu. This entrance cannot be sold separately or changed. The entrance to Wayna or to the Mountain also includes automatically the entrance to Machu Picchu. This entrance cannot be sold separately or changed neither. For these reasons, if you want to visit the Wayna or the Mountain on the last day of your trek, you will have 2 entrances to Machu Picchu. It is an absurd rule of the Ministry of Culture who imposes the regulations and we must respect them.
